PAPANASAM SIVAN SONGS COMPETITION
Siva Punya Gana Mani Brahmashri Papanasam Sivan's birth anniversary is celebrated every year in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Germany, UK, France, Norway, Denmark, Canada, USA (San Jose, Los Angeles, etc.), for the past 6 years. This year it is being celebrated at San Jose, Houston, Detroit, Dallas, Chicago and many parts of USA. As part of this celebration, we will be conducting competitions on songs of Papanasam Sivan on vocal, violin, veena, mridangam and bharathanatyam on 12th June 2011 from 10 am at

Program:
• Competitions begin at 10 am
• Will be followed by concerts by Lalitha Ramamoorthy, Papanasam Ashok Ramani and Madurai Sundar accompanied by Keerthana Shankar on the violin and Kallidaikurichi Sivakumar from India on the mridangam.
• Honoring of Teachers from Detroit
• Prize distribution between 5pm and 6pm
