Folks, this event is going to be the best you have witnessed in  a long time. Telugu film artists from our own Tollywood are going to sweep you off your feet with a wide assortment of programs and activities that among others will include mimicry, live orchestra and comedy. Also included are cultural activities by our local talent.

So, get ready and mark your calendars, for this event is going to be one for the ages.

 

In order to continue our tradition of nurturing our kids' interest in our culture, GITA cultural committee is requesting entries for various cultural events.
 
Please read the guidelines below for the entries: 
 
1. All entries relating to performances on the stage must be received by Oct 5th 2009.
2. All stage entries must be sent to indygita.cultural@gmail.com.  Please wait for approval/confirmation before committing your time for any rehearsals.
3. Please provide the following information about the entry:

    a. Name, phone number and email ID of Item coordinator

    b. Title of the item along with the name of the song.

    c. Names of all the participants and their ages  (applicable to children)
4. In order to encourage more people to participate, we encourage group performances and request that each person restrains their enthusiasm to participation in a single item.  Perhaps the only exception to this would be if he/she is participating in a large group item. 
 
As has been done in the past, GITA sometimes would have to turn down some items if the list of performances and duration would cause the program to become very lengthy.
